LIPP GmbH (Germany) was founded 50 years ago by Mr. Xaver Lipp, a master in metal sheet processing, in Stillau, a little place close to the Bavarian border. During his 50 years in the Company, Mr. Xaver Lipp had recorded 174 patents. One such example is the worldwide patented double-fold system, also known as LIPP System, which has revolutionalised the way of constructing large steel storage tanks. Over the years, another spectacular technology developed by LIPP GmbH is their proprietary biogas system which fully utilizes their LIPP system. Today, the company is a global player, specializing in LIPP system and biogas plants, with over 700 biogas plants worldwide, spanning across Germany, Eastern Europe, Japan, Korea and China. LIPP has achieved worldwide recognition through strategic partnerships.

LIPP Engineering Sdn. Bhd. and LIPP GmbH has forged a strong and synergistic partnership, leveraging on LIPP’s proprietary state of art tank construction technologies, proprietary
proven biogas technologies, couple with the know-how of construction, commissioning and operation of
biogas plants, and LIPP Engineering Sdn. Bhd.’s vast expertise and experience in waste
water treatment, and strong capability in delivering waste water projects in Malaysia and
overseas.
In the past years,
LIPP Engineering Sdn. Bhd. has successfully used LIPP state-of-the-art tank construction technologies
to build steel tanks for its water and waste water projects in Malaysia and
overseas.
LIPP Engineering Sdn. Bhd. has expanded its partnership with LIPP GmbH to include biogas plants technologies. LIPP GmbH will transfer its proprietary biogas technologies to LIPP Engineering Sdn Bhd., which in turn shall customize the biogas technologies to suit local conditions. All designs, construction, fabrication of equipments and operation of the biogas plants will be done locally and all these will substantially reduce the capital outlay and operating costs of biogas plants, and thereby making great contribution towards the development as well as enhancing the commercial viability of biogas industry in Malaysia.
